Please, /please/, don't make /only/ videos, y'all! Make text articles too!

Text is even /easier/ to make it's just /always/ video

always

Not everyone can do videos. Especially long videos that we're expected to Sit Down And Focus Entirely On which means engaging speech parsing AND we can't easily back up and reread things like we could text and we /can't slow down/ like we could text and we can't skim like we could text and just

there's often /no point/ to it being a video and we /can't/.

Anyway on this #AutismAcceptanceMonth I’m here to remind you that autistic people are almost never bullied for being autistic, but rather for being “weird.” Autistic people express themselves differently, use different language, and experience things like gender and sexuality differently than neurotypical people. Keep this in mind next time you’re rolling your eyes at someone you find embarrassing online

Okay, this is sorted out already. I found a Finnish local april fool's about artificial islands for rich people. This is a good piece for the task, because such a project is not so hard to imagine happening in reality.

Ooff. In our ”critical thinking” course in the university we have a task where we should find a fake news and use it as some sort of material in the task.

It's just that... no! I have such a strong aversion to bollocks websites that I very rarely come across something that is obviously fake news, so I should dive head on to some fake news site to just grab whatever.

But, nope, I don't want to do it.

So if you want to do me a favor, you can link to me some relatively benign fake news, please.

why do prospective employees give references, but prospective employers don't?

contacting previous employees of the company to get their honest assessment shouldn't be problematic, right?

I just hate it when some Rando comes up to me on the streets and starts talking about his throbbing justice.

"This paper quantifies drain from the global South through unequal exchange since 1960. According to our primary method, which relies on exchange-rate differentials, we find that in the most recent year of data the global North (‘advanced economies’) appropriated from the South commodities worth $2.2 trillion in Northern prices — enough to end extreme poverty 15 times over."
